Dunhill Cigars
Dunhill's reputation as purveyors of tobaccos and more importantly fine cigars stems from three ranges of unique cigars created in Cuba for exclusive distribution by Alfred Dunhill of London during the early 1950's.
Production remained uninterrupted after the Cuban Revolution until 1982 when the brand "Dunhill" was created. Today these rare and vintage Don Alfredo, Don Candido and Flor del Punto cigars fetch high prices at auction.
Unfortunately the new brand fell foul of a disagreement between Dunhill and CubaTabaco as early as 1985 and by 1991 the brand was discontinued.
Throughout the decades Dunhill has always used its expertise to find the world's finest tobaccos for their cigars. From Cuba to the Dominican Republic and now Nicaragua. The 2007 Signed Range (Nicaraguan blend) is a mix of Nicaraguan, Dominican and Cameroon tobaccos that has a medium to full, earthy taste and rich flavour. They are well made with uniformly attractive wrappers that burn slowly and evenly across a range of six sizes. Tubed variants and a Gift Selection box are also available to try with each and every box personally signed by the man who rolled them !
The band on each and every cigar bears the maxim "since 1907" which celebrates a century of smoking pleasure !
