A brand created in Havana in 1907 by one Francisco E. Fonseca. Today the cigars are manufactured in the Lazaro Pena Factory with four handmade sizes and one machine made.

Before the First World War these cigars were unique in being wrapped in fine Japanese paper and packed inside tin tubes before the appearance of aluminium tubes in the 1940's. The fine white tissue paper used to package the cigars is a hallmark of this brand.

Today they are one of the most popular cigars in Spain. Mild to medium in strength. The flavours are subtle, aromatic herbal. The mild sugary sweetness is well balanced by a hint of saltiness !
