| Santa Clara
Santa Clara, founded in 1830, is better known for its medium-bodied and medium-flavored cigars. Puros Santa Clara, the second-largest manufacturer in Mexico, became known for its 14-inch-long Emperador which was listed for almost three decades in the Guiness Book of Records as the biggest marketed cigar. When a challenger wanted to outdo this, they countered with the 19-inch-long (a fabulous 48.3 cm) Magnum, which is individually packed in a cedar-wood box (coffin) with a sliding top. |
