Cohiba Maduro 5 'Magico' / Montecristo 'Petit Edmundo' / Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robusto
Three outstanding and yet different small cigars, each with a distinct character and effect. The Cohiba Maduro 5 'Magico' burns slowly and draws well forming an attractive white ash in contrast to the dark wrapper. Both the New Petit Edmundo and recent Petit Robusto from Hoyo de Monterrey are redolent of all that is best of their respected brand.

Four very good daytime cigars identical in both size and girth but all very different in character, flavour and taste. Makes for interesting comparisons. Not a bad cigar amongst the lot !
The smallest cigar "Secretos" is particularly full bodied and quite a surprisingly strong cigar. The "Magicos" follows the recent trend for small pocket sized robustos and is similar to the the excellent Petit Edmundo in having an impressive 52 ring gauge. Whilst the "Genios" is full of complexity and typical Cohiba flavour and aroma previously seen in the Limited Edition Piramides. Slow Burning and generating a distinctive white ash all three new cigars may need more time to develop their full potential but are a delightful smoke whilst fresh from Cuba. RECOMMENDED.
