International acclaimed wine and cigar critic James Suckling along with award winning film director James Orr have released "CIGARS: The Heart and Soul of Cuba". This is a unique documentary film on Cuban cigars and the spirit of the Cuban people. It screened at the XXXIII Festival del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano in Havana on 2nd December 2011.

Written and directed by Orr, the 53 minute DVD chronicles the entire process of Cuban cigar making, from planting to packaging, offering rare, never before seen footage of the facilities where cigars are produced and the people who make them. Suckling serves as host of the movie guiding viewers through this journey across Cuba.

The Partagas Series E No. 2 is finally here and by the looks of it, the wait has been a worthwhile one.

A Partagás Habano is immediately recognized by its rich and intense flavor. The nature of its blend, made up by tobacco leaves selected from the Vuelta Abajo Region, is of an inimitable richness and aroma.

The vitola is the first of the 2011 Habanos new releases to arrive from Cuba and will become part of the standard Partagas range. The Cigar shares its dimensions with the Romeo y Julieta Duke (2009 LE) and is now the widest ring gauge cigar within the Partagas standard portfolio.

Presented in an unvarnished SBN boxes of 25 and 5 with a flap to separate the cigars in the box and an exterior lithographed piece of paper to make the wooden boxes of the brand more easily identifiable in the cigar stores.

The Serie E No. 2 is sure to become a firm favorite amongst Habanos enthusiasts.

Named for the famous bridge in Paris, this brand created in the 1970s was originally intended exclusively produced for the French market.

All Quai d’Orsay sizes are made with a light tasting blend of leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region and its wrappers are mainly distinguished by their Claro (light brown) and Colorado Claro (mid brown) colours.

Created in 1932 by Juan Cano, this brand is often hard to find due to the small production quantities of what are generally now machine made sizes. However it has in the past produced medium-strength cigars and excellent workmanship in the handmade vitolas.

The current La Flor de Cano Short Rubusto 2010 has been released as an exclusive Regional Edition for the U.K market. The long awaited distribution of this unique cigar has been eagerly anticipated by connoisseurs and aficionados who can recall the original Short Churchill back in the early 1980’s.

This was a cigar which pretty much went under the radar back then but re-emerged as a significant investment commodity as prices for pristine cabinets of 25 cigars sold for well in excess of £4,000.00 on the back of interest from collectors in Hong Kong who recognized how this surprising cigar improved and evolved with age.
