Piramides LE 2003: Another cigar which has yet to reach its full potential. Originally released in July 2003 the Limited Edition Piramides has a typically mild, sweet, almost creamy aromatic style one has come to associate with other Hoyos. But the beautifully marbled dark Maduro wrapper, created by a second fermentation at higher than normal temperatures, imparts a subtle toasted flavour which adds a pleasing and additional complexity to the blend. Tobaccos from the 140 year old Jose Gener plantation in San Juan Y Martinez do not normally require much aging and can taste quite brilliant when new. But this cigar may best be sampled in the years to come once its maturation is complete. Recommended as an investment. - Submitted by 'El Habanero' on May, 2007

Piramides LE 2003: One of my favourite Piramides. Smoked from two different boxes, both with the same burn and well constructed. The oily wrapper and the rich wrapper are one of the few stuffs that make these cigars one of the best cigars that cuba had produced!! - Submitted by Walter F.on April 3, 2005

Epicure Especial: Whlist maintaining a typical Hoyo taste; woody (mostly ceder) this is a much fuller and stronger flavoured cigar. The burn was very even after a few weeks in the humidor. The ash was long and confirmed the fine pedigree of all Hoyo\'s. This is definately a cigar to be savoured and celebrated - it needs time (I\'d say at least an hour) and a certain level of respect to get the most out of it. - Submitted by Ian G.on March 20, 2005
