Seleccion No.2: - (124 mm x 50 ring gauge) Given the quality of recent production here is a cigar to rival the classic Epicure No2 or Series D4. Available in cabinets of 25, this subtle Cuban cigar offers a pleasing confection of taste and aroma without being overpowering. Fabulously fragrant with floral, woody overtones, its mellow leathery/earthy character offers just the right amount of strength and complexity to perk and satisfy the senses. A personal favourite. Obus Regional Edition for France 2006: - (140 mm x 52 ring gauge) This brand is not widely distributed and accounts for a very small percentage of total sales worldwide but should not be overlooked by those who enjoy top-quality cigars. Essentially a Belicoso Fino, this small piramide comes in an SLB Cabinet Selection box and has been allocated to France only. A well-made, medium-strength cigar appropriate for any time of day, the Obus was a delight to smoke. A good draw and an attractive wrapper was matched by a fresh, delicate, woody taste. Its distinctive floral aroma seduced me immediately. Rolled only last August, it may be a trifle early to judge its true quality but already I am marking this particular cigar as one that can only improve .- Submitted by 'El Habanero' on January, 2007

Seleccion No.2: I have long been a fan of this robusto particularly since the Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No.2 is no longer what it used to be. The Selection No.2's currently available ( I managed to find a Cabinet of 50) are superb. As good as I can remember. A medium strength, delightfully aromatic cigar with strong floral almost spicy overtones. Wonderful daytime cigar ideal for Summer smoking outdoors.- Submitted by Adrian 'The Golfer' on June 21, 2005

Seleccion No.1: Very good!! really! I bought one last week. Charming presentation and very good scent. Easy to light, with no burning problem. It has a particular spicy taste that last till the end. not so strong and with chocolate flavors in the last third, rich in the smoking. A bit flat in flavors at the end but not \"burnt tobacco taste\"!! Very good also for the price! - Submitted by Mina on May 24, 2005

Seleccion No.1: A very nice cigar, medium bodies, not very complex. Coffee, spice and honey giving place to more spice and leather towards the end, never becoming too harsh. Leaves a very pleasant aftertaste. Not as strong as I like my cigars, but defenitely a very good corona gorda. - Submitted by Dimitris on April 16, 2005

Seleccion No.2: This is a worthy contender for the best robusto award. The Seleccion #2 is not as creamy as the Hoyo Epicure #2 but the flavors resolve better. The cigar peaks just past the half way point. - Submitted by Rony on November 18, 2004

Seleccion No.2: Hidden gem among the robustos of cuba! This cigar is foresty with molasses undertones; woodsy, oaky, cedary, mapley, and a hint of pine. So good! - Submitted by Goodcigars on November 21, 2004
