The Falcon Coolway No.24 is a classic full bent apple briar pipe with a saddle stem. Slightly shallower than the 21 for a lighter option with thicker walls for a more robust pipe. The Apple shaped bowl is arguable the most comfortable bowl shape and the thickness of the briar wall is thickest at the point where a pipe overheats most helping to keep the pipe cool. A cooler pipe will smoke sweeter, cooler and smoother. Bent stems are generally more popular and it’s not solely down to Sherlock Holmes.
