Drawing on the sort of design talent that Stanwell has long since made its trademark, it is very easy to find oneself claiming about a dozen or so shapes as one’s “favorites”. That having been said, the “139” is one of mine. It’s hard to get more Danish than a Bent Billiard like this, with nary a straight line to be found, and a bowl and transition which combine to create something reminiscent of a tulip at the moment just before it’s ready to fully flower.
