Many people believe that the tobacco produced in Nicaragua from Cuban seed most closely resembles that produced in Cuba.
The Esteli Valley is in many ways the heart of Nicaraguan production and is known for its very powerful and spicy tobacco. The Jalapa Valley produces arguably the finest tobacco in the country: somewhat sweeter and less intense than Esteli, but extremely complex. The tobacco of the Condega Valley is often described as a blend of the other two regions.
Nicaragua now exports more than twenty million cigars to the USA. In recent years the quality and variety of premium hand made cigars produced has improved greatly. We are pleased to provide selections of what we feel are some of the very best cigars currently available.
