Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “Order” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept all major credit cards in payment as well as American Express. If you are shopping from outside of the UK, place your order and your credit card company / Bank will convert the transaction into £ Sterling or your own currency.

Shipping And Handling

Before we despatch your order we will confirm your purchase by Email. If the goods you require are out of stock we will advise you of the anticipated delivery dates. Please ensure that you decide which of the two following postal options you prefer before ordering Online : Standard or Special Delivery. The cost, according to the weight of the item you have bought, will be added to your purchase. If you are not sure and require further information please call us directly and we will be able to advise you as to the most cost effective option.

Please note that you now have the facility to have your order sent to an address other than the Billing address of the card Holder. However it will still require a signature upon receipt. Please ensure that someone is present at the delivery address to sign for the parcel.

Please note deliveries are not dispatched over bank holidays and weekends.

UK ORDERS

All orders for the United Kingdom are sent by means of Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. This option can take between 3 – 5 days. The cost of postage of each item is displayed at the point of purchase. We will acknowledge your order but will not wait for confirmation of the postage charge, automatically charging you accordingly.
If you require speedier delivery then you should opt for Special Delivery – see following note.

LARGE ITEMS

For large or bulky items that weigh in excess of 2 Kilos we reserve the right to use Parcel Force Standard Service within the U.K. This service takes between 3 to 5 days and is not guaranteed. We will acknowledge your order but will not wait for confirmation of the postage charge, automatically charging you accordingly. You can request guaranteed Parcel Force 24 hour delivery at additional cost. Please call for a confirmed quotation prior to ordering.

SPECIAL DELIVERY

If you require next day delivery before 1.00pm anywhere in the U.K. the goods can be despatched by means of Royal Mail Special Delivery. Guaranteed delivery on a Saturday before 1.00pm however is more expensive. Please contact our Customer Care dept to arrange this. We can send parcels up to 10 kilos in weight by means of Special Delivery but any item weighing in excess of this figure would have to be sent by means of Parcel Force 48 hour delivery. We will acknowledge your request for Special Delivery, but will not wait for confirmation of the postage charge, automatically charging you accordingly.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

International orders are generally sent by means of Royal Mail International Signed For Delivery – which requires a signature. Heavier items are sent using Parcel Force Worldwide which may take longer to reach its destination ever is the cheaper. We will acknowledge your request for International Delivery, but will not wait for confirmation of the postage charge, automatically charging you accordingly. We do not send either cigars, tobacco products or accessories to Australia, Canada, the United States, Russia, Israel, Iran, Singapore, Hong Kong, Iceland, China, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq, India, Israel, Philippines, Slovakia, United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Malaysia, Yemen, Pakistan and India or Europe. We cannot send tobacco products to the Republic of Ireland, this is part of the new EU regulations on tobacco

Delivery Schedule

We will process your order for delivery the same day provided that the item/s are in stock. And we will attempt to send your order to you the same day or the next business day . Standard delivery orders can take between 1-3 working days to reach you. Special Delivery items will generally be delivered next day depending on Royal Mail’s service. International orders usually take between rec 5-7 working days depending on the geographical location.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

Orders made from and or for delivery to the UK attract VAT @ 20%.

Credit Card Security

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Privacy Policy

Cigars Unlimited do not disclose buyers’ information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the ‘Remember Me’ Option.

Returns Policy

If Goods have not been received within fourteen days from the date of despatch, detailed written notification must be made directly to us. Furthermore, no claim for damage or pilferage can be entertained unless notice of such is given within 3 days of the receipt of the goods.

If the said Goods were either damaged or faulty upon delivery we will replace such at our expense.

Please call Customer Service to inform us and retain the original packaging for our inspection to validate your claim. Both the product and the original packaging should be returned within 10 days of receipt along with a written claim stating exactly why the item has been returned. We will not replace either a damaged or faulty item until it has been returned.

We endorse a no quibble policy should you not be happy with the product or goods that you have purchased. Within 7 days we agree to either replace the item with a same cost alternative or offer a full refund provided that the original item is returned to us in good condition. All you pay is the return postage.

Your credit card will be credited with the appropriate amount upon receipt of the goods should you not wish for a replacement or alternative.

CIGAR STORAGE

The storage of cigars on behalf of clients is at the discretion of the Proprietor (CigarsUnlimited) and depends on the availability of space within our Humidor.

As from the 1st January 2017 we no longer offer free storage to customers due to the demand for space in our humidity and temperature controlled Humidor

Clients who wish us to store and condition their cigars or continue to do so with an existing inventory will be charged a flat fee of £400.00 per annum for up to 4 boxes and a minimum of £520.00 for between 5-10 boxes per annum, payable in advance, for the storage of cigars in their locker or keep. All charges includes VAT @ 20%.

This fee is chargeable pro rata on a weekly basis for periods of less than a year.

If clients fail to pay the above fees as of the 1st January each year we are at liberty to sell their cigars to recoup the monies owed to us without further warning.

We do not accept or store cigars from any other source or that have not been purchased from us originally to guard against infestation of our inventory.
