Plasencia Alma Fuerte, a unique blend of our best-aged tobaccos, grown in our highest quality soil, accentuating their bold, vibrant and intense flavours.  Plasencia Cigars is very excited to announce that the brand new Plasencia Eduardo I Size 6 1/4 x 54 toro vitola added to the collection. This cigar is named after Eduardo Plasencia who was the first member of our family to grow tobacco after he moved from the Canary Islands, to Cuba in 1865. Fast forward to 2022 we are now on the 5th generation of Plasencias and this cigar was special to us to pay homage to Eduardo Plasencia, the creator of their legacy.

Eduardo Plasencia took a major risk by crossing the Atlantic Ocean to start farming tobacco in a faraway land. Without him, there would be no Plasencia tobacco family.”

The Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro is a Nicaraguan puro that uses a wrapper grown at Plasencia in Nicaragua’s Jalapa Region.

The Colorado Claro wrapper which comes from the vast Plasencia tobacco library was aged for over 10 years, which results in a smoother smoking experience.

The Plasencia Alma Fuerte features some of the very best tobaccos grown by them, comprised of an all Nicaraguan core of long-fillers wrapped in an oily Nicaraguan Habano wrapper. Making the Plasencia Alma Fuerte an exceptionally bold blend with a rich flavour profile. The blend delivers hints of cocoa, leather, and spice in a very complexed and balanced smoke that’s enjoyable from start to finish, with exceptional construction of course. These Small-batch beauties earned an impressive 93-rating by Cigar Aficionado in 2017 and was named the #9 Cigar of the Year.
