Small Cigars

Cuaba Divinos, Cuba

Cuaba Divinos, Cuba ( 4.00 inches / 101 mm x 43 ring gauge ) rrp £11.50

Reminiscent of the style of cigars produced at the turn of the century and launched just over a decade ago in the fall of 1996 the Divinos, like the rest of the Cuaba range is produced in the Romeo Y Julieta factory. Effortless combustion, due to its tapered shape, and woody, vegetal overtones underpin a gentle cigar with a discreet yet pleasing aroma. A popular and approachable cigar that does not require lengthy maturation.

Reyes

Trinidad Reyes – Cuba ( 4.38 inches x 40 ring gauge ) rrp £13.00

As a comparative new boy on the block the Trinidad Reyes has steadily grown in popularity since its launch in 2003. Created by master blender Raul Valladares, who was also responsible for the recent Cohiba Maduro Secretos, this pocket cigar certainly packs a punch by virtue of its high proportion of ligero leaf. Recommended as a finale to dinner.

Ramon Allones Small Club Corona

Ramon Allones Small Club Corona -Cuba ( 4.38 inches x 42 ring gauge ) rrp £12.50

However, after a light lunch one should consider the Ramon Allones Small Club Corona. Whilst identical in size, this diminutive version of the larger Specially Selected Robusto quintessentially embodies the “English taste “ in Cuban cigars. Its earthy fragrance and absorbing complexity provides an appropriate conclusion to any meal.

Short

Partagas Shorts – Cuba (4.38 inches x 42 ring gauge) rrp £13.00

If I had to choose a cigar to accompany my morning coffee I would have no hesitation in lighting up a Partagas Shorts – preferably from a Cabinet selection box of 50. A small cigar with a big effect the “Shorts” has been around for many a year. But it never fails to deliver an irresistibly rich, pungent slightly sweet aroma which provides the perfect complement to a cup of expresso.
