Montecristo Media Corona (Medium to Full)

Media Corona At just 3 ½” (90mm) long, this is as short a cigar as you will find being made in Cuba today. However, despite its lack of length it is still able to deliver plenty of Montecristo taste. Ideal for when time is not a virtue

H Upmann Half Corona (Light to Medium)

Herman Upmann was a banker from Germany who so loved Cuban cigars that he moved to Havana in 1844 and set up as both banker and cigar maker. His bank closed in the early 1920s but his cigars live on as a fine example of an elegant, light to medium flavoured Havana.

The first 3½ inch (90mm) Havana to be introduced since the Second World War. Its forebear, called the Half-a-Corona, was in its day the best-selling Havana size by far

Cuaba Divino (Medium to full)

Every Cuaba is made in the distinctive shape known as a double figurado, the style that at the end of the 19th Century was much in vogue for Havanas.

A century later, in 1996, this rich tradition was revived at the Romeo y Julieta factory as a tribute to how Habanos once were presented globally. Double figurados are at the pinnacle of the cigar maker’s art and for this alone they merit a place in every cigar enthusiast’s collection.

Cuaba, like Cohiba, is a Taino Indian word dating back to the time of Columbus, and no doubt long before. It was their term for a highly combustible bush, which they used to light their ‘cohibas’.

All sizes of Cuaba are ‘tripa larga, totalmente a mano,’ – long filler, totally handmade.

The Range Divinos Strictly speaking this is a ‘perfecto’ size, not a double figurado because the cigar’s head is rounded not pointed. It has a particular intensity of taste from the off that makes it the perfect accompaniment to a morning espresso.
