Cohiba, H. Upmann and Trinidad will be the three brands in the spotlight.

The 26th Festival del Habano is expected to take place in Havana, Cuba, from 23–27 February 2026. Although Habanos S.A. has not made an official announcement, these dates were shared by Intertabak AG, the Swiss distributor of Cuban cigars.
The festival traditionally occurs during the last week of February and serves as the primary event for the Cuban cigar industry, bringing together distributors, retailers, media, and consumers from various regions.
Participants attend activities such as tours of tobacco farms and factories, educational seminars, cigar rolling workshops, and a trade show. The Habanos World Challenge competition is also held during the event.
Additionally, the festival provides a platform for Habanos S.A. to present financial results and introduce upcoming products. According to sources, the brands highlighted at the 26th edition are expected to be H. Upmann, Trinidad, and Cohiba. The 2026 festival may have particular significance due to the 60th anniversary of the Cohiba brand, Cuba’s most prestigious cigar brand. It is widely expected that the anniversary will be a major focus of the week’s programme.
Evening events often include dinners focused on specific brands or new releases, with the final night featuring a humidor auction. In 2024, this auction raised €16.25 million, setting a record for the highest price paid for a humidor.
Registration for Festival del Habano XXVI has not yet started. Interested individuals are advised to contact local Cuban cigar distributors for information about attendance, what is sure to be another unforgettable celebration of all things Habanos.
