On 15 October at the Coq d’Agent Restaurant in Central London, Hunters & Frankau unveiled the latest addition to its House Reserve Aged & Rare Series, as well as introducing a distinguished humidor: House Reserve Series 1790 – Collection No.3.

The Habanos vitolas released within the Hunters & Frankau House Reserve Aged & Rare Series are sourced from Montecristo and have been carefully selected and matured to commemorate the brand’s 90th anniversary. The House Reserve Series 1790 Collection No.3 humidor pays tribute to previous UK Regional Editions from the renowned Por Larrañaga brand, all of which have garnered significant popularity and acclaim.

A limited edition of fifty numbered humidors has been handcrafted by Italian specialists DeART S.r.l. Each humidor contains 50 Por Larrañaga cigars, representing the four vitolas previously chosen as UK Habanos Regional Editions. These cigars are double-banded and feature an additional foot band, distinguishing them as part of the Hunters & Frankau House Reserve Series 1790 Collection No.3.

For this third exclusive release, Hunters & Frankau has collaborated with the Parisian luxury house S. T. Dupont to design a bespoke cigar cutter and lighter set for each humidor. Both accessories are marked with the Series 1790 emblem and individually numbered to correspond with their respective humidors. The cigar cutter incorporates a rest function, while the Ligne 2 lighter includes a double flame, perfectly suited for cigars with a substantial ring gauge, and is noted for the signature Dupont ‘cling’ on opening.

Por Larrañaga is currently the oldest Cuban cigar brand in production. All cigars are entirely hand-made, long filler, crafted using tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region in Pinar del Rio, Cuba.
