Founded in 1837 by brothers Antonio and Ramón Allones in Havana’s La Eminencia factory, the Ramón Allones brand has long been considered one of the oldest and most venerable Cuban cigar marques. Over decades the brand has earned a reputation for innovation, from pioneering colour-lithography on cigar boxes to producing the first “8-9-8” box format.
In the UK, the brand has been intimately tied with the importer Hunters & Frankau (H&F) — including the 2004/05 UK Regional Edition “Ramón Allones Belicosos” and subsequent very special series such as the 225 Aniversario (2015) and the Private Stock 230 (2020).

The new release: Absolutos

The Absolutos is a bold new vitola in the Habanos portfolio: measuring 6 ⅛″ (156 mm) × 49 ring gauge and referred to in the Cuban factories as a “Nuevos”. The boxes are crafted specially for this release: twenty double-banded, hand-crafted cigars per box, presented in an elegant collector’s package.

This release further underscores the brand’s selection on three previous Habanos Limited Edition series (Allones Extra 2011, Club Allones 2015, Allones No.2 2019) which are now highly prized among aficionados.
