launched 22nd June 2025 in Dublin, the Punch Néctares No. 50 became the first ever Habanos Regional Edition to be produced for the Irish market and the first Habanos to feature “Exclusivo Irlanda”.
The name is a tribute to the Néctares line which were a numbered series that were produced exclusively for James J. Fox in Dublin and London before 1960 and discontinued in the 1980s.

Measuring 6 ½” (160mm) x 50 ring gauge (referred to as a Magnum 50 vitola in the factories of Cuba) and presented in numbered SLB cabinets of 50 cigars, Punch Néctares No. 50 are totally handmade with 1,400 boxes being produced. Using long filler tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region, the cigar offers the smoker over an hour of refined, rounded, medium-bodied aromas that perfectly encapsulates the subtle, earthy, sweet undertones that characterises the classic Punch blend. A special cigar band featuring the name of the cigar was also created to dress these landmark cigars.

The creation of this historic cigar was the result of a collaboration between Ampersand, the exclusive Habanos distributor for Ireland, Hunters & Frankau and Habanos S.A and exemplifies the ethos and values of Habanos Regional Editions – cigars that are defined by provenance, limited production and a legacy rooted firmly in the region’s cigar history.
