The Alma Fuerte Robustus I embodies exactly that: a blend that is second to none, made from Nicaraguan top-quality tobacco. With the Alma Fuerte Robustus I, we particularly liked the depth of taste, which is particularly noticeable from the second third.

Tasting notes:

Pepperiness and caramel/cinnamon sweetness are a good match in this almost black box-pressed cigar. It develops cedary, nutty and coffee aromas with herbal spice. During the smoke it becomes more expressive.

 Alma Fuerte Eduardo I (Nicaragua) Medium strength

This cigar is named after Eduardo Plasencia who was the first member of our family to grow tobacco after he moved from the Canary Islands, to Cuba in 1865. Fast forward to 2022 we are now on the 5th generation of Plasencias and this cigar was special to us to pay homage to Eduardo Plasencia, the creator of their legacy.

Nestor Andres states, “It is important for us to continue to acknowledge our family history and use our ancestors as inspiration as we go forward. Eduardo Plasencia took a major risk by crossing the Atlantic Ocean to start farming tobacco in a faraway land. Without him, there would be no Plasencia tobacco family.”

Tasting notes:

The Plasencia Alma Fuerte features some of the very best tobaccos grown by them, comprised of an all Nicaraguan core of long-fillers wrapped in an oily Nicaraguan Habano wrapper. Making the Plasencia Alma Fuerte an exceptionally bold blend with a rich flavour profile. The blend delivers hints of cocoa, leather, and spice in a very complexed and balanced smoke that’s enjoyable from start to finish, with exceptional construction of course. These Small-batch beauties earned an impressive 93-rating by Cigar Aficionado in 2017 and was named the #9 Cigar of the Year.

Plasencia Reserva Original Piramides (Nicaragua) Medium strength

Plasencia Reserva Original has the very same taste that captivated the Europeans more than five centuries ago, when they arrived in the New World. It features notes of nuts, fruits, and caramel with delicate nuances of marzipan and final hints of cedar.
Farmed from the Esteli and Jalapa regions of Nicaragua, this organic tobacco was cured, fermented, and then aged for five years before being blended. The result of this is a medium strength cigar
